How to submit to Living Stone Books (Publishing list).
The new publishing imprint will start releasing books in 2026. This list will be focussed on digital sales via print on demand and short run print books, ebooks and audiobooks.
Living Stone Books is specifically for titles that are faith-based.
The age ranges include:
Middle Grade Fiction
25,000-45,000
Young Adult Fiction
35,000-55,000
Adult Fiction
30,000-50,000 for shorter reads
50,000-80,000 for mid-size
While we value that some stories are best told above 80,000, this is the maximum length for us at this stage.
To submit a manuscript
- A full synopsis and pitch as to why the world needs your book
- A minimum of five chapters of the book (though the book should be finished or closed to finish if we request to read more)
- Your full return details (i.e. name, address). These must also be included on the pages of your manuscript.
- If you have not completed the manuscript when you submit, please include a timeline of your writing with your cover letter. Note: Your cover letter and the first 5 chapters need to be combined as one file (word or pdf only accepted).
- Feedback from any editors you have worked with is welcome

What are we looking for?
Christian Faith-based stories of fiction for the age groups listed above. Great stories, engaging characters, easy and fun reads in any genres as long as Christians are represented. We want to give families and kids opportunities to relate to those with their faith.
